I was looking for something tasty, not being from Indy I wanted to try something local. This place did not disappoint! It’s bright and colorful, the decor is quite loud and even entertaining. The host was great, service was a big slow- but they were very busy. Food was great, delicious and large portions and inexpensive. Try the cheesecake pal cakes! Highly recommended if your a tourist or a local

From out of town and chose to try this place for first time wish I could give more stars!! The service, the food, the atmosphere...the list goes on!! I am a picky eater but tried my very first eggs Benedict here with the Norwegian potato cakes (Ruth's recipe) I cleaned my plate...lol! The potato cakes had zucchini and squash as well and were just amazing!! I want to find her for the recipe! The waitress was so nice and did such a great job as well...hard to find these days. Do yourself a favor and EAT LOCAL AND TRY THIS PLACE ALREADY!!!

Walking in, noticed the decor, gave a feeling of creativity. Very pleasant. Ordered simple biscuits & gravy since I was in a hurry. Was waited on, and served promptly. The quick, meal was great! In my opinion, best biscuits & gravy I’ve had around town in a long time.

Ruth's Cafe is a cute, quiet, eclectically decorated cafe with a fantastic breakfast selection and great food. This is my first visit to Ruth's and it will definitely not be my last. My food arrived in a timely manner, it was hot and visually appealing...which means a lot to me. I ordered the 'Old School' breakfast combo and subbed a pancake for my toast. The pancake is enormous and fluffy. The eggs are cage free (per the menu) and were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was of a decent quality...which I also appreciate. My total bill was $10.08 ???? The food is well worth the value! Ruth's gets 5 stars from me.

I've been here a couple of times but most recently stopped in for a quick lunch. As always, this casual breakfast/lunch spot was hopping, with all the outdoor tables full on a temperate summer day. No worries, the indoor space has so much to keep your senses occupied! This was the first time that I had noticed the umbrellas on the ceiling, along with a drum and cymbal. I was seated at table covered in rainbow Day of the Dead style skulls, and my chair had Star Trek decoupage adorning it. The whole place is quirky like that, makes it that much more fun! The friendly and fast waitress Varonnica arrived quickly with my coffee. Bonus for me that RC serves breakfast all day! They have such a diverse menu that I'd be sure there's something to suit everyone's taste. I ordered a spinach omelette with side salad and wheat toast. During my short wait, I was able to look around and really enjoy the uniqueness of the pop-culture decor here. Most of the tables are two or four tops, with a couple places along the wall perfect for larger groups. It is a little loud for private meetings in the main space, but not so much that you can't carry on a normal conversation. It's just that kind of a fun, busy place! My food arrived shortly. The omelet was big, filled with spinach, oven roasted tomatoes (soooo good!) and feta cheese. For me, this was a perfect flavor combo! The lightly sweet house champagne vinaigrette truly complemented my fresh side salad. I also appreciated that the salad was served in a bowl, which made it much easier to eat. I was able to pay my bill quickly at the table and off I went. I forgot how much I enjoy visiting Ruth's Café. Next time I won't wait so long!

We visited at round 1pm on a Wednesday. It was HOT outside and there were patrons eating on the patio. We figured it must've been incredibly busy because of that, but it wasn't! They just wanted to sit in 90 degree heat. We were promptly seated inside and asked for drink orders. I got the Brie (B)LT on multigrain with fresh fruit on the side. INCREDIBLE! I'm usually wary of getting any type of BLT sandwich since I have an egg allergy and cannot have mayo. There was NO mayo on this sandwich to begin with, so no confusion to be had there! That was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bacon was perfect. The Brie perfectly melted. And great crunchy, fresh romaine lettuce. The multigrain bread has seeds in it, and it was lightly toasted. It was so delicious. The fruit cup came with an orange wedge which was a very nice surprise. It had ripe cut up strawberries, as well as whole fresh blueberries and green grapes. Service was awesome. We will definitely be back.
